Glass gardens

A garden for non-gardeners. The best perfumes come in small bottles, but this can also be the case for the most beautiful miniature gardens. Glass gardening is the perfect antidote to a fast-paced world. Watching all its wonderful details and taking care of a garden in a jar is pure bliss. Best of all? They are easy to maintain.

Create a mini jungle in a jar.

How to make a terrarium bottle garden

In a fast-paced world, tending plants is a slow and physical activity that makes you feel grounded and relaxed. Gardening in a jar allows you to enjoy your passion without compromising too much on space. The glass creates a fascinating mini climate zone by avoiding fast evaporation. Using a lid allows you to travel because you can leave your plants unattended for a certain period. Above all, a garden in a jar is just so beautiful to watch that it will get you in a good mood every time you look at it.

  • Use a jar big enough to fit your different plants. A bigger jar such as IKEA 365+ jar also facilitates maintenance and accessibility.
  • Having a lid to close the jar can be a good idea, some plants need a more humid environment. When using a lid, you also need to water the garden less frequently.
  • Select your plants. Remember that it's best if they prefer similar growing conditions. Add some grit and soil, then put the plants in using OSTBIT serving tongs that allow you to place them in the right position.
  • Enjoy taking care of your tiny garden. It will need some watering. You can use SESAMFRÖN plant mister to avoid overwatering the terrarium.
  • From time to time, trim leaves using MÄRKBART scissors and change its shape. It's also fun to change the scenario by adding deco details. Why not do some seasonal settings?
We call this a soft launch for our future garden.
