Smörrebröd with salmon & mustard sauce
Get a taste of Scandinavia with this classic Danish sandwich! The cured salmon and sweet yet savoury mustard sauce make it perfect for a light lunch or a summer buffet.
Serves: 4 | Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
4 slices SJÖRAPPORT cured salmon
4 tbsp SÅS SENAP & DILL sauce for salmon
4 tsp ROSTAD LÖK fried onion
2 tbsp butter
4 slices rye bread
4 lettuce leaves
1/2 cucumber
4 sprigs of dill
Step by step:
- Thaw the salmon.
- Slice the cucumber into long thin strips with a cheese grater or mandolin.
- Spread butter on the bread slices, and arrange the lettuce leaves and cucumber slices on top.
- Continue with the salmon. Top with sauce, roasted onion and a sprig of dill.
- Tip! Add a few slices of boiled potato under the salmon for a more filling sandwich.
