Democratic Design Days

IKEA believes good design combines form, function, quality, sustainability at a low price.
They call it Democratic Design.
Once a year they hold an event called the Democratic Design Days. This is where they drop the big news for the coming year, give sneak peeks of upcoming collections and products, and reveal future collaborations.

Collections and co-creation
New and ongoing collaborations, plus several new sofa collections created, were presented at the show. One of the sofas, or “living platform” as Tom Dixon and the 75 co-creating design students call it, is amazingly adaptable.
New names. New ideas.
