Asian wraps with meatballs & soy dip

Whether served as finger food, mingle food or as a starter, these tasty lettuce wraps with Asian flavours will add zest to any festivity!

Serves: 4 | Time:  15 minutes

Ingredients:

Asian wraps with meatballs
8 HUVUDROLL meatballs
1 avocado
2 carrots
8 small lettuce leaves
4 tbsp mango, diced
6 tbsp kohlrabi, finely chopped
16 thin slices of fresh jalapeno
4 tsp black sesame seeds
4 tsp spring onion, finely chopped

Soy dip 
5 tbsp light soy
1 tsp ginger, finely grated
1 lime, freshly squeezed juice
1 red chilli, finely chopped
2 tsp coriander, finely chopped

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the dipping sauce.
  2. Split and hollow out the avocado and cut it into thin slices. Next, thinly slice the carrot with a potato peeler or mandolin.
  3. Rinse and dry the lettuce leaves, and place them on a plate.
  4. Cook the meatballs according to the package instructions.
  5. Fill the lettuce leaves with kohlrabi, grated carrot, avocado, meatballs, mango and jalapeno.
  6. Top off with sesame seeds and spring onion, and serve the lettuce leaves with the dipping sauce.
  7. Tip! For a vegetarian version of the recipe, choose HUVUDROLL plant balls instead.
