Meatball mummies
These yummy meatball mummies will get the whole family into the Halloween spirit! Use plant balls, meatballs or both for a quick and easy snack to make together.
Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 20 min
Ingredients:
16 HUVUDROLL plant balls or meatballs
125 g puff pastry
1 egg
1 tbsp mayonnaise
Step by step
Thaw the meatballs. Heat the oven to 200C. Cut the puff pastry into 1/2 cm wide long strips. Press three meatballs together tightly and wrap them with the puff pastry strips. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush the puff pastry lightly with beaten egg. Bake in the oven for approximately 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Let the mummies cool slightly. Make the eyes with mayonnaise.Tip!Make the mummies even scarier – serve them with a blood-red dipping sauce made of KETCHUP tomato ketchup!
