Workflow of IKEA 90-day trial scheme for newly purchased mattresses
Definition: 90-day trial period for testing mattresses (not including the VADSÖ sprung mattress, any children's mattresses, cot mattresses or sofa bed mattresses). If a customer is not satisfied with their IKEA purchase, they have a chance to exchange their mattress within the first 90 days of purchase. The customer may select a different mattress of a different model, but it must be the same size as the originally purchased mattress. In order to qualify for the 90-day trial, the customer must bring the sales receipt in to one of our stores, please refer to the following workflow for more details.
Specific workflow
- The mattress can only be exchanged once during the 90-day trial, and the replacement mattress must be the same size as the previous one.
- The customer needs to purchase a new mattress, then bring both receipts to the return and exchange. The customer must have purchased a new mattress, then open a returns form to exchange the mattress at the return and exchange. The customer will be charged for both instances of shipping fees, unless they bring the mattress to one of our stores.
- The shipping address for the new mattress must match the shipping address of the old mattress.
