The kitchen mixer tap’s sensor function is simple, hygienic and practical – perfect when you just want to fill a glass with water or rinse off your hands when cooking.
The sensor is discreetly placed on the mixer tap’s side to prevent it from accidentally turning on when you work in the kitchen.
The water flow turns off automatically after 10 seconds if the sensor does not detect any movement, so you never risk wasting water.
The mixer tap has both a sensor and a manual lever. The lever is practical when filling a pot or other large container with water.
The sensor's cleaning mode means that the mixer tap turns off for 2 minutes, so you can wipe the mixer tap without turning the water on.
This is a durable mixer tap that you can use for many years, since the hard, ceramic discs withstand the friction that always occurs when you change the temperature of the water.

This tap is for use on high pressure water systems. Tested to work with a max. pressure of 10 bar (1000 kPa). Recommended working pressure range is 1.0 – 5.0 bar (100 kPa – 500 kPa).

To be mounted in a 35 mm hole in a max. 60 mm thick sink/worktop.

But what if water starts running every time your hands move by the sink? The solution was quite simple: we placed the sensor on the side. This improved the look of it, too.Brass is a mixture of copper and zinc and the amounts vary depending on the desired properties. Copper is usually the main material and the more zinc you add results in the brass being harder and stronger, but also results in it being more difficult to shape and less resistant to rust. Brass can be recycled as brass but never into its original metals. At IKEA we use brass for things like knobs, handles, frames and taps.
