When stainless steel is new, it is natural that the first scratches are visible. They become less visible over time as the material is used and gets a more matte tone.
Even though stainless steel is a durable material you should never place hot pots or pans directly on the worktop without a trivet or pot stand.
Do not use a knife or other sharp object directly against the surface since this can cause scratches.
May be completed with sink accessories for effective use of space on the sink.
