For us at Children's IKEA, the safety and security of children is most important. That's why it was a major setback for us in 1997 when a plastic eye came off one of our soft toys. But it taught us that adversity can lead to something really good. In this case, it not only led to us developing even better safety procedures, but also that our soft toys gained stronger personalities.
