It's possible to plant directly in the pot because it has drain holes in the bottom and a saucer to collect excess water.
The plant pot is frost-resistant and can be kept outdoors at temperatures below zero if emptied of soil or covered.

- KLARBÄR plant pots are designed by Ilse Crawford and made of stoneware with a matte finish and pigmented glaze that contains chamotte – a burnt clay that has been crushed and is often used to add firmness to the finished product. With chamotte in the glaze, the surface also becomes coarser and gets a slightly raw and rough expression. The surface’s texture makes it more susceptible to marks, but they’re easy to remove by simply spraying water on the pot and letting it air-dry.
