While working on JÄTTELIK we found several possible answers to why many children are so fascinated by dinosaurs. One is that these creatures with long names blur the line between reality and fantasy, giving the child a tingling sensation of curiosity and excitement. There is also something thrilling about collecting and categorising facts about them. With this special knowledge, the child can gain a first sense of truly mastering something (and knowing more than you).
Lyocell is a strong and silky-smooth fibre made of cellulose from wood pulp. The soft lyocell fibre is good at absorbing moisture while feeling cool against the skin. That’s why we like to use it for bed linens and as a filling in pillows and duvets to give you a good night's sleep. And just as with any other wood raw material, we strive to use it as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste.
Dinosaurs in different colours and shapes live on JÄTTELIK duvet cover and pillowcase. It’s also written what they’re called, so you can learn the names of everyone. The soft and cool nice fabric is woven in lyocell and sustainably grown cotton. Both are durable natural materials that breathe and transport moisture away so your child can sleep well all night. The duvet covers are also packed in a fabric bag made of production waste pieces. Good for your child and our climate.
