Function came first when I designed IKEA PS 2026 chair bed – but comfort and fun weren’t far behind. By day, it’s a cosy spot for naps, gaming or reading. By night, it unfolds into a bed – ideal for small spaces or surprise sleepovers. With its low seat and cushions cradled in tubular steel, the design is a nod to 1970s IKEA living room furniture. Form and colour are central to my design philosophy, and I love how they make the chair bed feel modern, inviting and playful.
With over 35 clever, surprising home furnishing products that bend, roll, rock and more, the IKEA PS 2026 collection is made for design lovers, small-space city dwellers and anyone who uses their home to express themselves.
