“The Dala horse is a symbol of Sweden and our heritage of craftsmanship that is easy to recognise. In the HÄSTHAGE collection I play with the silhouette of the cute horse and combine it with black and white birch trees as a tribute to Scandinavian nature. The result is simple, modern and vivid. To me, the patterns symbolise a respect for nature, optimism and survival – a love of life, even in tough times."
