Handle tempered glass with care. To extend its life, keep the surface scratch-free; for example, avoid contact with cutlery in the dishwasher and metal scrubbers, and never use a visibly damaged, scratched or chipped product.
Avoid exposing tempered glass to sudden temperature change, for example when placing a cold dish into a microwave, as it might cause sudden breakage.

"When I designed the DRÖMBILD series I was inspired by flea market bargains to create a mix of old and new. By choosing glass as the material and giving the pattern a three-dimensional look in the tableware, food and drink become the centre of attention. Of course you are free to use them in any combination you like, there’s no right or wrong. For example, the plate can be used to hold beautiful birthday cards that would otherwise end up in a box."
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
