Your best balcony: for the nature lover
When you love the outdoors, no small space can get in the way of enjoying it. Turn your balcony into a gardening haven with the help of some really practical storage pieces for your tools and pots, lots and lots of plants, and of course, a comfy spot to enjoy it all.
For a calm and neat gardening space, we created a work station against one wall. Enter, smart storage units. Pick one that’s not too deep, but still provides plenty of space to hold your essential tools, bags of soil, and pots. This storage unit has adjustable shelves that adapt to your needs, closed cabinets to keep things dry (this is where we keep the soil), and open shelving for you to display your beautiful plants and anything you might need to reach for more often. You can even add a trellis for vertical gardening.
A proper gardener’s balcony really comes to life when your plants and flowers are beautifully displayed. Try large flower boxes for bigger plants or vegetables that need more soil depth, improvise with smaller wooden ones for groups of potted plants, and experiment with a single pot in more creative pieces, like a large birdcage.
Just as wonderful as creating a nature-filled balcony? Having a spot to soak it all in. A couple foldable chairs and a foldable table give you just enough room to enjoy the view with a cup of coffee and a good book, without taking too much space away from your plants.
We love to see our customers get creative with our products. Go for it! But please note that altering or modifying IKEA products so they can no longer be re-sold or used for their original purpose, means the IKEA commercial guarantees and your right to return the products will be lost.
