4 ways to use night lights in your bedroom

The lighting you choose for your bedroom can really help you to relax. Here’s how to furnish with the right lights to suit four different needs.

1. Make night-time with kids easier with a night light they
can carry. Use a tamper-proof reading lamp with a dimmer so little fingers can’t touch the bulb.

2. Help the little ones to find you in the dark. Fit a remote controlled lighting strip under your bed to guide them to you (secure all leads to the bed).

3. If inspiration often strikes at night, try attaching a spotlight inside your bedside table. This light is activated by a motion sensor so you can easily find a pen and paper. Prefer writing on your smartphone? Use a wireless charging station and lamp in one so you’re always ready.

4. Get up or go to bed without disturbing with your partner, just turn lights on or off and dim them at a distance using a remote control and smart bulbs. Above the bed use adjustable wall spotlights so you can direct the light where you need it.

We love to see our customers get creative with our products. Go for it! But please note that altering or modifying IKEA products so they can no longer be re-sold or used for their original purpose, means the IKEA commercial guarantees and your right to return the products will be lost.
