3 wall ideas with EKET cabinets

We think EKET cabinets are modular, versatile, creativity-ready storage. Check out our wall storage ideas using different depths and colours. There’s more in EKET series, so you can add doors, feet, legs or rails, too.

1. The bold divide. Start with a low line of 35 cm deep cabinets at the bottom, so there’s room for storage boxes. Then leave a gap for a display area that doubles as a long side table. Top it off with a mountain-y shape of 25 cm deep cabinets. Mix colours for a striking look.

2. The focal point. Make a big impression by covering a wall with a giant square of open cabinets. Pick one colour to ‘pop’ and draw attention in the middle. We put 35 cm deep cabinets along the bottom to create a thin display shelf with room for an eye-catching bloom.

3. The corner climber. To build in a corner, start at the bottom with a row of 35 cm deep cabinets for heavier objects. Work up, leaving some surfaces clear to show off larger pieces. Break up the boxiness with an asymmetrical top! Secure all cabinets to the wall, even the bottom row.

We love to see our customers get creative with our products. Go for it! But please note that altering or modifying IKEA products so they can no longer be re-sold or used for their original purpose, means the IKEA commercial guarantees and your right to return the products will be lost.
