Mattress guarantee

What is covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee covers defects in material and workmanship in the following components of the mattresses and/or bed bases described above from the date of purchase from IKEA. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase. This guarantee applies to domestic use only.

• Wooden frame and springs in wooden base spring mattresses.
• Springs in spring mattresses.
• Foam core in foam mattresses.
• Latex core in latex mattresses.
• Wooden frame, slats and springs in LURÖY and LÖNSET bed bases.
• Electric motor in electrically operated bed bases (5-year guarantee).

Products not covered under this guarantee
This guarantee does not apply to: all mattress pads. Mattresses JÖMNA, JÄRNUDDA, JELSA; sofa bed mattresses and childrens mattresses.

What is not covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee does not apply to products that have been stored or installed incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or cleaning products.

This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents.

This guarantee does not apply if the product has been placed outdoors or in a humid environment.

This guarantee does not cover consequential or incidental damages.

For customers in the US only: some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damage, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Mattress guarantee

How long is the guarantee valid?
The guarantee for mattresses remains in force for ten (10) years and is valid from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase.

What is covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee applies to domestic use only and covers defects in material and workmanship in all mattresses. The guarantee covers split seams, damaged springs, broken handles, broken mattress base and substantial sagging.
This guarantee is to the benefit of the original purchaser of the product. It is not transferable.

Products not covered under this guarantee: 
This guarantee does not apply to mattress pads, JÖMNA mattress, SÄBÖVIK mattress, sofa bed mattresses and children’s mattresses.

PAX/KOMPLEMENT wardrobes and interior organisers guarantee

What is covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee applies to domestic use only for clothes and shoe storage and covers defects in material and workmanship in the following components of the PAX/KOMPLEMENT wardrobes and interior organisers:

• Frames
• Hinged doors and hinges
• Dividers for frames, shelf inserts and sectioned shelves.
• Sliding doors and sliding door mechanism
• KOMPLEMENT interior organisers

Products not covered under this guarantee
KOMPLEMENT insert for pull-out tray, KOMPLEMENT jewellery insert for pull-out tray, KOMPLEMENT divider for pull-out tray and KOMPLEMENT tray 3-pack.

What is not covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee does not apply to products that have been stored or installed incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or cleaning products.

This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts, scratches or damage caused by impacts or accidents.

This guarantee does not apply if products has been placed outdoors or in a humid environment e.g. bathroom.
