IKEA asks all customers in China who own a FLISAT children’s table with an article number 302.984.19, supplier number 13344, and a date stamp 2401 (YYWW) to stop using it and contact IKEA.  

Why is this product not safe to use? 

The age recommendation on the product’s label is indicated wrongly according to local labelling requirements in China (“3+” as opposed to “3-6”).  This means that, according to Chinese regulations, the product may not be suitable for the originally indicated age group.  

What should customers do? 

Customers who own one of the affected FLISAT children’s tables, with date stamp 2401 (YYWW) should immediately stop using it and contact IKEA for a full refund. The affected products can be identified by a label placed underneath the table with the following attributes: 

What remedy can customers expect? 

Affected products can be returned to any IKEA store for a full refund. Proof of purchase (i.e. a receipt) is not required.
